CALDWELL, Idaho — Caldwell PD arrested five men for various crimes including state and federal charges of felony child enticement.
The Idaho Attorney General's Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force and the Department of Homeland Security conducted a sting operation focusing on sex crimes against children in the Treasure Valley.
Police say the two-day investigation resulted in the arrests of five different men for various crimes, including state and federal charges of felony child enticement.
During the investigation, Jose Cadenas Jr. and Daniel Banning were charged with enticing a child through the use of the internet or communication device.
Crispin Salina Rodriguez was charged with enticing a child through the use of the internet or communication device, possession of a controlled substance (felony), possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanor), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brian Harris and Juan Campos both were federally charged with enticing a child through the use of the internet or communication device.
Police say, Cadenas, Banning and Rodriguez are being held in the Canyon County Jail on state charges while Campos and Harris were taken into custody on Federal charges.
