RUPERT, Idaho (KBOI) — A 30-year-old man is dead after his truck was struck by a train in Rupert, Idaho.
The Sheriff's office identified the man as 30-year-old Ismael Galaviz Victorio of Rupert, Idaho. They say he was traveling southbound on 800 East Road and when he failed to yield to the train.
According to deputies, Ismael died at the scene from his injuries.
Idaho State Police assisted the sheriff's office with the investigation of the crash.
The case is still under investigation.
