Officials: 2 dead, 3 hurt after shooting at Washington state music festival

GEORGE, Wash. (KOMO/TND) — Two people are dead and three others are hurt, including the shooter, after a shooting at a Washington state music festival.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a shooter at the Gorge Amphitheater campground, where the Beyond Wonderland electronic music festival was in full swing, at 8:25 p.m.

GCSO revealed the shooter was in custody on their Facebook page a little after 9:15 p.m. and confirmed two people were killed as a result of the shooting.

Three others were injured, and KREM-TV reports the shooter is among them.

"Information about shooting victims will not be available until the on-site investigation is complete, and the victims' families have been notified. Information about the shooter will also not be available pending investigation," GCSO said in the Facebook post.
